Before you apply as the Site Engineer in any company please be noted that you need to know most of the device equipment, their operation and to troubleshoot the problems.Though this need the skilled person but some of these below company will also take the freshers.

a) G-Force: As before mentioned, it hires Site Engineer to debug the problems or to examine the site present condition. You can view their link above.

b) Celltronics Telesolution: It have received the Excellence Award at 2014 for its best Performance by the Huawei in Nepal. It has around 150+ technicians and Engineers as combined. 1. Drive Test: These below company provide Drive Test Job :  

a) Tangent Consultant:  It is one of the oldest and largest company that provide the Drive Test Job. It has mainly focused on Drive Test. Currently more than 50 Drive Test Engineer have been doing job. Drive test of NT and Ncell is largely carried. For the job

b) GTL: It is an Indian multinational company which provides various job related to communication engineering in Nepal as well as other various countries. It is located in Balkumari Height, Koteshwor Kathmandu.You can apply there with the vacancies open in their official website.
       
Reference of the Senior will be very essential because there will be high chance that they give chance to the reference.

The Drive Test job is the pure communication field. It needs your patient and problem solving skills and able to work long hours.

2. First Line Maintenance Engineer(FLM):
   
a) G-Force: It has been providing job to the freshers as well as experienced engineers in the FLM job. Currently it has take responsibilities of the Ncell company in the FLM work. Jobs to do in Telecom Industry

Telecom jobs for Electronics and Communication engineering, Communication engineering

During our study period, many of us don’t know the jobs that we need and might be doing in the near future if we enter into the telecom, communication field. There are various jobs which we       can apply after course of study.

Please mind, I have listed the telecom jobs only. I will mention the electronics jobs later in this page. I have listed the company where you can apply for the job listed below in here.

1. Drive Test : It is the job where entry level as well as experienced engineer apply for. It is  pure  communication field. In this work, couples of handset of special installed software mobile devices is provided with GPS and the signal strength of the mobile BTS (antenna) is checked and measured. The task that you have to do it to capture the signal strength of the BTS(antenna). The parameter like radio signal quality,call quality, signal to noise ratio many more. The signal of 2g,3g,4g or LTE, WiMax,CDMA,etc are measured and saved as a log file. You have to sit on the 4 wheeler vehicle and measure signal in the given area near to the BTS.

2. Site Engineer: When the BTS or the tower is made, then there are various problem like misplacing of the telecom equipment, then the site engineer command to the technician or the engineer to make or repair as according to the criteria of the telecom company. For this job one need to have large skill and knowledge and this skill is acquired by doing the job as a technician. This job is not difficult but need to have skill at first. For fresher's its difficult to have this job because as I previous explain this need to have a experience.

3. NOC/Nok operator: Pronounced as a knock. This is the entry level job.Here, noc is hub place or centralized place where the communication system of the BTS of certain area is controlled.       It's a very easy job. One have to sit on the office and check the current status of the BTS like whether its antenna is working or not, whether the power is off or not ,sensor of the BTS room and many more. It is the best job suited to get experience in the field of telecommunication. 

4.TSSR survey: TSSR stands fot Technical site survey report. This survey is done in the area where is is need to install the new BTS system for that area. This survey includes the feasibility study of the new site like near by power transmission system, transportation feasibility, height needed to  install the antenna,and many more. This requires GPS device to track the feasibility exact point of places and the camera to capture the nearby panoramic view to  study the long term feasibility of the site coverage by the BTS antenna in the long run.

5. Operation and Maintenance: Generally pronounced as O&M. This job is to incorporate with the customer and the service provide company for the maintenance needed of the telecom equipment and to maintain the network service more effective to the customer. 

6. FO Engineer: FO stands for Fully Outdoor. It is the work of the microwave link. The microwave antenna is installed and commissioned with the near by microwave antenna for the smooth   operation and exchange of the communication path to the near by BSC and MSC system. This also requires the experience but one can do job easily with few months training.

There was always be an ambiguous which subject choose from beginning of academic but eventually finishes the Degree.  Some of us may not have some case but I bet few of us certainly have faced and came to engineering.

Engineering is itself a tough. But let me remind you, Job which you will do will be more tougher than u might have think. It decides your future, your carrier which you gone spent your life. Never be foolish to choose the job which you don’t like.

In recent years in developing country there is problem of unemployment. Even the technical manpower in those countries are  jobless. I would list some of few  company where the fresher’s can apply and start their carrier.

Let me truly remind you, Whatever you do the job, enjoy your job: be sincere , be dedicated and try to learn more n more then only you will achieve what u wish. Many of us forget these things and get run after money. Never run before money when you are fresher’s, always dedicated towards the skill that you need. If you can’t do this thing you will neither be a skill personal neither earn money.

During the Bachelor’s Degree in electronics and communication,we have learn various subject of electronics, power electronics, communication, digital signal processor, mobile communication, electromagnetic and many more. Based on these subjects and Bachelor’s degree course I have listed the jobs where the fresher’s and even the skilled can apply.

1. Nepal Telecom:  Nepals largest job provider company for engineers. Have to pass the examination and interview which is quite tough and competitive . But salary is handsome as according to the working staff.

2. Ncell:  Private telecom company which provides numerous job from Knock operator, site engineer (I have explained  about those jobs here) and many more.

3. Different ISP: Worldlink, Broadlink, Classictech,  Websurfer, and many more ISP are established which demand fresher’s as well as experienced engineer in different level.

4. Dish Home, Radio station, Television:  These companies hire engineers as the broadcast engineer, IT officer, Communication engineer to run their company and also provide training for the fresh recruit.

5. Huawei,ZTE, GTL: These organization provides job to large engineers because they took work from telecom operators like NT, Ncell,Hello Nepal. The work is from Tower Installation to site survey and Radio Optimization.
